Deep Essence Counseling shares Quotes and Thoughts for Life
“Most of us are not raised to actively encounter our destiny. We may not know that we have one. As children, we are seldom told we have a place in life that is uniquely ours alone. Instead, we are encouraged to believe that our life should somehow fulfill the expectations of others, that we will (or should) find our satisfactions as they have found theirs. Rather than being taught to ask ourselves who we are, we are schooled to ask others. We are, in effect, trained to listen to others' versions of ourselves. We are brought up in our life as told to us by someone else! When we survey our lives, seeking to fulfill our creativity, we often see we had a dream that went glimmering because we believed, and those around us believed, that the dream was beyond our reach. Many of us would have been, or at least might have been, done, tried something, if...
If we had known who we really were.”
― Julia Cameron
"Whatever relationships you have attracted in your life at this moment, are precisely the ones you need in your life at this moment. There is a hidden meaning behind all events, and this hidden meaning is serving your own evolution."
Are you feeling tired, burnt out or upset?
Affirm to the Universe.
" I shower myself with kindness today. Every moment I take a positive step, even a small one, I bless myself several times. I surround myself with all the good things the Universe has to offer
There exists a power greater than you can imagine or ever will imagine. That power is greater than the biggest miracles you have seen or heard of. That miracle, that power is YOU. You are greater than any miracle you have seen. There is no greater miracle than you.
Any time you see a miracle occurring around you say out loud " I am greater than that." Because you are, you are, you are.
Are you struggling because of relationship, health, money, family or career?
Thank the Universe for this difficulty.
State out loud " I am grateful for this ________________ in my life. Thank you very much. It helps me be more of the person I want to become."
Stating this out loud every day will help ease the fight and resistance about being in a bad situation to a delightful peace.
Wishing you love and light.
A Real Life Fairy Tale
There lived in a faraway land a wonderful princess named Meela. She was a beauty with small, beady eyes, plump as can be. She shared her beauty wherever she went. People would come up to her and say "You are so ugly." And she would respond "Thank you so much, you are so ugly too."
And she went about her day in perfect harmony. One fine day, her prince charming arrived. She knew who he was as soon as she saw him, for he exuded the same unimaginable beauty that she felt every day. So, she followed him around, day in and day out, hoping one day he might notice her beauty as well. Weeks went by and became years but she never gave up.
She followed him, no matter what, knowing that one day, he would recognize her beauty and make all of his dreams come true.
And he did. One day he turned around and said " Stop following me, I hate you, You are ugly."
And she responded. Thank you so much. I hate you so much too. And then she went about her day. Following him around as always.
He stared at her. Rolled his eyes and trotted off.
Since she knew he hated her so, so much, she continued to follow him, even more.
And he continued to say: I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. The princess heard from him whereever she went.
Those words made her happy, time and time again. They made her world go round. She lived her life enjoying these three words in her head. And she knew them to be true.
The prince remarried, remarried and remarried. The princess went about her life knowing that one day her prince will join her in harmony, in sickness and in health. And so it was.
And one day, it happened.
The prince returned, worn and torn, with three children from three different marriages. He was ready to love the princess and said to her "I love you."
The Princess said "I don't understand."
To which the Prince responded "I hate you too. And they hugged and kissed and everything else and lived happily ever after."
Resistance manifests itself as inflammation in the body.
Allow yourself to remove focus and energy from the resistance and the pain and send light and love to the area of inflammation instead.
Art is about growth, about peace, about love.
It is not about staying in between the lines.
It's about being bigger than you believe you are.
It's about taking risks. And taking them again.
And again. And again.
If there was no fear, there would be no risk.
If there was no risk, there would be no growth.
Let life be messy.
Accept the mess.
Live beyond the lines.
Live in the Unknown.
Allow the Unknown to be a reality.
There is no straight line to success.
Success is the line.
The broad all-encompassing line.
Be messy as you can be.
Again and again and again.
